Greater Egypt Regional Planning and Development Commission utilizes Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) for many aspects of our planning operations. This includes environmental planning, economic development and transportation. UAS services are also made available to local communities and businesses in our five-county planning area.

FAA Licensed Pilots
In order to fly for commercial purposes, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires UAS operators to hold a Remote Pilot License under Part 107 guidelines. Greater Egypt currently has two certified remote pilots with a sUAS rating.
